About corrugated cardboard
Global markets have known the use of corrugated cardboard as a packaging material for more than 125 years, with its primary function of protecting products during shipment. However, the present market and products development has made somewhat enhanced corrugated cardboard add value to your product.
Due to its fluted medium, corrugated is rigid and durable to give your product a complete protection. It is distinguished for its strength and heavy-duty characteristics, resistant to unpredictable conditions (shipping route, moist, grease, etc.), which is achieved by special glues and coatings.
By means of lamination (corrugated enhanced by added sheets of paper or cardboard), capacity and rigidity are further extended; the use of off-set lithography, dispersed or UV glossy finish, in their own right, present an effective marketing tool.
Corrugated packaging of fluted cardboard is made from natural renewable material and thus fully recyclable and reusable. In terms of packaging and packaging waste, it is also among those few approved by the European Commission.
